Steve Bykowski, the Chief Operating Officer at Pacific Construction, brings over 28 years of construction industry experience, beginning his career in 1995 as an Assistant Project Manager and Estimator after earning a degree in Engineering Construction Administration from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Specializing in electrical systems, Steve advanced from Project Manager to Senior Project Manager, and eventually to Project Director, before taking on his current role.
Renowned for his expertise in high-rise buildings, retail, industrial, office, and multi-family projects, Steve excels in managing complex projects in challenging environments, such as grocery-anchored retail centers in urban areas. His ability to effectively coordinate with clients, subcontractors, tenants, and local communities ensures successful, harmonious project completions.
At Pacific Construction, Steve's comprehensive understanding of all construction phases allows him to lead projects from concept to completion, meeting meticulous standards. Chris Wales, the President of Pacific Construction, brings over two decades of diverse experience in the construction industry. His passion for construction was ignited early on during high school, where he worked on surveying and staking projects for a civil engineer. This foundational experience led him to pursue a bachelor's degree in a related field from the University of Kansas, eventually guiding him towards a successful career as a general contractor.
Throughout his career, Chris has excelled in various roles, culminating in his current position as President. He has developed a particular expertise in job order contracting (JOC), with a special focus on federal and municipal projects. Chris is especially passionate about the transformative process of construction, taking immense satisfaction in seeing projects evolve from initial concepts to completed realities.

Luigi Storino, Chief Financial Officer of Pacific Construction, brings over 20 years of financial and construction industry experience. A graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting, Luigi began his career at Tishman Construction during the tech boom, quickly advancing to Controller while working on large-scale projects for major clients.
At Pacific Construction, Luigi oversees the company’s financial strategy, including planning, reporting, risk analysis, and project financing. His expertise ensures that resources are allocated effectively and that projects remain financially viable and within budget, no matter their complexity.

Rob Bassler, Chief Operating Officer at Pacific Construction, brings more than two decades of leadership experience across commercial, residential, and industrial construction. His career includes executive roles at nationally recognized firms such as Lendlease, Krusinski Construction, and Sevan Multisite Solutions, as well as serving as COO at Lightspeed Group and Airoom Companies.
Throughout his career, Rob has developed deep expertise in operational leadership, process improvement, and growth strategy. He is known for aligning teams, streamlining processes, and guiding organizations through periods of expansion and change with measurable success.

Most recently, she served as Director of Business Development at 41 North Contractors, where she successfully led expansion efforts and secured key accounts across multiple sectors.
Throughout her career, Laura has built strong relationships in industries including retail, hospitality, and multifamily. With more than 35 years of experience in construction, real estate, and architecture, Ike Hong serves as Chief Strategy Officer for Pacific Construction. A graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Civil Engineering, Ike has contributed to major projects such as the Great Lakes Naval Training Center, Sears World Headquarters, and Adler Planetarium.
In his role, Ike helps shape Pacific Construction’s future by identifying growth opportunities, expanding into new markets, and cultivating client relationships. His foresight in industry trends and ability to guide strategic initiatives make him an invaluable member of the leadership team.
